AhlulBayt News Agency: Deputy Judiciary Chief and Head of the Iranian Judiciary's High Council for Human Rights Ali Baqeri Kani said that Israel was not alone in plotting and assassinating the country’s nuclear scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, and slammed Washington for collaboration in the terror attack.
“The Zionist regime is not the only culprit behind the assassination of martyr Fakhrizadeh, and the main root of enmities and crimes is the US regime,” Baqeri said on Saturday.
He said that the Europeans collaborate with the US in imposing sanctions against Iran, and the Zionists and certain terrorist groups cooperate with Washington in assassinations.
Baqeri underlined Iran’s firm determination to take revenge for the terrorist attack, adding that the judiciary is also pursuing the case seriously.
Fakhrizadeh's car was targeted by an explosion and machinegun fire in Damavand's Absard 40 kilometers to the East of Tehran on Friday.
